help, whats the best euro railway?

im travelling to europe later this year like end of november to december and i am going through germany, france and austria but all of these euro rail websites are unspecific and dont really help at all…. any suggestions for a good website or something? via australia

Each country has it’s own national railway. The people selling the eurail passes do not run the railroads – they’re just ticket agents. It is often cheaper to buy point-to-point tickets directly from the railraods themselves rather than a pass. This is especially true if you can buy tickets in advance to take advantage of discounts available and will be taking high speed trains rather than the slower regional trains. There are additional reservations fees / supplements to pay with the passes if you use the higher speed trains or night trains.

For Germany, the railroad site (in English) is: http://www.bahn.de/international/view/en/index.shtml . Austria: http://www.oebb.at/en/index.jsp . France: http://www.sncf.com/en_EN/flash/ . Either the German or the Austrian site is good for determining schedules throughout Europe.

Can a Mexican living in the USA, travel to Canada? ?

Me and my girlfriend live in the USA, but we decided to go back to Mexico, however we have family in Canada and would like to visit them in Canada and then fly to Mexico. Would the Canadian Immigration let us into Canada with our Mexican Passport?? what else would Immigration require to let us into Canada?

If you are a citizen of Mexico and have a valid, updated, Mexican passport, you can legally travel to most anywhere in the world.
Canada included.

Never been to europe and have no idea how to get around or what to expect (help please !)?

I have never been to europe and i can only go for 3 weeks with my fiance we are visiting his family in germany and then going to croatia … i was wondering if any one could tell me the best way to travel and possibly the cost to get there we would stay in croatia for about 4-5 days then return to mosbach which is in baden -wurttemberg i believe…if the traveling from mosbach to zagreb croatia is in our budget we would like to go to paris on train … THE PROBLEM here is im looking for prices but the via rail is showing me passes that take me through countries such as ausria and charging me as if i would be spending time in these countries instead of travel through them to get to my destination …can any one help with this ? as well as to any good sites to check out for good ticket deals all the prices im getting are in the 700 hundreds …and im hearing it should be lower help please !

The cheapest and quickest way to travel within Europe is by plane. There are European budget airlines with low prices such as Ryan air. Ryan air has a lot of offers for 5 euro single tickets. Other budget airlines are Easy jet and Air Berlin.

I don’t know when you will visit Europe, but you safe a lot of money if you book early.

From where do you want to depart to Paris, from Baden or Croatia?

-If you depart from Croatia, the best way is to fly. (Ryan air from Zadar Croatia (via Pisa italy) to Paris single ticket 10 euro) But early booking is important, because budget airlines don’t fly regular maybe three times a week. So you must be quick otherwise it’s full booked.

-If you depart from Baden, from Strasbourg in France not far from Baden, a single ticket with the TGV highspeedrail is 22 euro.
